Melochia pyramidata (Pyramidflower) is a species of shrub in the family Malvaceae. It is native to U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, the contiguous United States, Minas Gerais, Mata Atlântica, Pernambuco, Paraíba, Rio de Janeiro, Espirito Santo, Mato Grosso, Amazônia, São Paulo, Cerrado, Sergipe, Mato Grosso do Sul, Goiás, Paraná, Ceará, Maranhao, Caatinga, Distrito Federal, Alagoas, Piauí, Bahia, Rio Grande do Sul, and Santa Catarina. It is a photoautotroph.
