Urena lobata (Caesarweed) is a species of shrub in the family mallows. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Puerto Rico, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, GoiáS, Sergipe, Minas Gerais, Alagoas, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Pará, U.S. Virgin Islands, Distrito Federal, Acre (Brazil), Paraná, Tocantins, Santa Catarina, ParaíBa, Maranhao, Bahia, Cerrado, Rio Grande Do Sul, Caatinga, Rio De Janeiro, Mato Grosso, Mata Atlântica, SãO Paulo, Ceará, Pampa, Amazônia, and Pantanal. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Palamedes Swallowtail, Lasioglossum urenae, Southern Broken-Dash, and Long-tailed Skipper. Individuals can grow to 1.9 m.
