Eryngium planum (Plains Eryngo) is a species of perennial herb in the family umbellifers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Buff-tailed bumblebee, European beewolf, Bombus hypnorum, and White-tailed bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 0.39 m.
