Bursera simaruba (Gumbo Limbo) is a species of tree in the family Burseraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to US Minor Outlying Islands, Florida, AmazôNia, The Contiguous United States, U.S. Virgin Islands, Roraima, and Puerto Rico. They have compound, broad leaves and green flowers. Flowers are visited by Atala, Leaf-cutter and Resin Bees, Vireo, and Potter wasp. Individuals can grow to 60 feet.
