They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, Western North America, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Vosnesensky Bumble Bee, Gnophaela latipennis, Argynnis mormonia, and Becker's White. Individuals can grow to 0.2 m.
