Cupania americana (Wild Ackee) is a species of tree in the family Sapindaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Puerto Rico, Roraima, Amazônia, and The Neotropics. They have compound, broad leaves, white flowers, and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Red-legged Thrush and Loxigilla portoricensis. Individuals can grow to 59 feet.
