Spondias mombin (Hog Plum) is a species of tree in the family Anacardiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Rio De Janeiro, Amazônia, Bahia, Cerrado, RondôNia, Maranhao, SãO Paulo, Piauí, Roraima, Espirito Santo, Minas Gerais, Pernambuco, Mato Grosso, Distrito Federal, Amapá, Acre (Brazil), Mata Atlântica, Alagoas, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Puerto Rico, GoiáS, ParaíBa, Tocantins, Pará, Sergipe, Ceará, Rio Grande Do Norte, and Asia. They have compound, broad leaves, white flowers, and drupes. Flowers are visited by Tetragona clavipes, Trigona hyalinata, Braunsapis bouyssoui, and Trigona pallens. Individuals can grow to 31 m.
