Arbutus menziesii (Pacific Madrone) is a species of tree in the family Ericaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Western North America, and United States. They have simple, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Anthophora edwardsii, Black Tail Bumble Bee, California Tortoiseshell, and Vanessa cardui. Individuals can grow to 80 feet.
