Eryngium campestre (Field Eryngo) is a species of perennial herb in the family Apiaceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It has broad leaves and dry fruit. Flowers are visited by Arethusana arethusa Schiffermüller 1775. Field Eryngo is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 34 cm.
