Lamium amplexicaule (Common Henbit) is a species of biennial herb in the family Lamiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Battus philenor ssp. hirsuta (Skinner 1908), Sleepy Orange, Honey bee, and Gulf Fritillary. Individuals can grow to 0.15 m.
