Digitalis purpurea (Foxglove) is a species of biennial herb in the family Plantaginaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They have simple, broad leaves and purple flowers. Flowers are visited by Drymeia hamata, Bombus dahlbomii, Buff-tailed bumblebee, and Large garden bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 5 feet.
