Brosimum lactescens is a species of tree in the family Moraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Neotropics, Bahia, Acre (Brazil), Cerrado, Pará, Pernambuco, AmazôNia, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Roraima, Santa Catarina, GoiáS, Paraná, Maranhao, Rio De Janeiro, Rio Grande Do Sul, RondôNia, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, Ceará, SãO Paulo, Espirito Santo, and Mata Atlântica. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 38 m.
