Antonia ovata is a species of shrub in the family loganias. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Bahia, Mata Atlântica, RondôNia, Mato Grosso, Distrito Federal, South America, Maranhao, Amazônia, Piauí, Pará, Acre (Brazil), Tocantins, GoiáS, Minas Gerais, Cerrado, and Roraima. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Individuals can grow to 10 m.
