Myrcia palustris is a species of tree in the family myrtles. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Paraná, The Neotropics, Santa Catarina, Mata Atlântica, Espirito Santo, SãO Paulo, Mato Grosso, Rio De Janeiro, Bahia, Rio Grande Do Sul, Minas Gerais, and Caatinga. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 2.1 m.
