Plinia rivularis is a species of tree in the family myrtles. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Mata Atlântica, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Rio Grande Do Sul, Pernambuco, SãO Paulo, Alagoas, Paraná, Espirito Santo, Acre (Brazil), Amapá, Amazônia, Caatinga, Minas Gerais, Cerrado, Santa Catarina, Bahia, Rio De Janeiro, The Neotropics, Pará, and Ceará. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 14 m.
