They are native to Pantanal, Bahia, Distrito Federal, Amazônia, Mato Grosso, GoiáS, Pará, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Caatinga, Pampa, Rio Grande Do Sul, Cerrado, Minas Gerais, SãO Paulo, Mata Atlântica, Roraima, Paraná, and Amapá. They have simple, broad leaves.
