Bathytoshia centroura (Rough Tailed Stingray) is a species of Myliobatiformes in the family whiptail stingrays. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN. They are native to The Nearctic, the Palearctic, Mediterranean Sea, The Neotropics, Ethiopia, and Atlantic Ocean. They are carnivores. Individuals can grow to 300 cm. Reproduction is iteroparous and ovoviviparous. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on swimming to move around.
