Taraxacum officinale (Common Dandelion) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to Greenland, The Contiguous United States, Alaska, and Canada. They have yellow flowers and achenes. Flowers are visited by Syrphid fly, Lasioglossum calceatum, brimstone, and Honey bee. Individuals can grow to 0.5 feet.
