Chelon saliens (Leaping Gray Mullet) is a species of bony fishes in the family mullets. It is associated with freshwater habitat. It is a planktotroph. Individuals can grow to 40 cm. Leaping Gray Mullet has sexual reproduction. Reproduction is iteroparous and oviparous.
