Diervilla lonicera (Northern Bush Honeysuckle) is a species of shrub in the family Caprifoliaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Eastern North America, Canada, The Contiguous United States, United States, and Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon. They have simple, broad leaves, purple flowers, and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Hummingbird Clearwing, Two-spotted Bumblebee, Yellow Bumblebee, and Common Eastern Bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 2.4 feet.
