Valeriana sitchensis (Pacific Valerian) is a species of perennial herb in the family Caprifoliaceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to Canada, Alaska, the contiguous United States, and western north america. Pacific Valerian has simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Clodius Parnassian. Pacific Valerian is a photoautotroph.
