Nicotiana alata (Jasmine Tobacco) is a species of perennial herb in the family nightshades. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Minas Gerais, Paraná, Rio Grande Do Sul, Pampa, Santa Catarina, and Mata Atlântica. They have simple, broad leaves and fleshy fruit. Flowers are visited by Small garden bumblebee and convolvulus hawk moth. Individuals can grow to 1.5 m.
