Thymbra capitata (Mediterranean Wild Thyme) is a species of shrub in the family Lamiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and dry fruit. Flowers are visited by Colpa sexmaculata, wool-carder bee, small white, and Bombus terrestris dalmatinus. Individuals can grow to 0.5 m.
