Ampelaster carolinianus (Climbing Aster) is a species of shrub in the family Asteraceae. They are climbers. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Eastern USA. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by Southern Carpenter Bee, Long-windged Skipper, Toxomerus geminatus, and Common Eastern Bumblebee.
