They are native to Distrito Federal, Minas Gerais, Bahia, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Tocantins, Cerrado, Caatinga, Mata Atlântica, Ceará, Pantanal, Amazônia, Alagoas, Pernambuco, ParaíBa, GoiáS, SãO Paulo, Puerto Rico, Maranhao, The Contiguous United States, Pará, Espirito Santo, and Mato Grosso. They have simple leaves.
