Myrsine umbellata is a species of tree in the family Primulaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Santa Catarina, Roraima, Paraná, GoiáS, Mato Grosso, Mata Atlântica, Pará, Cerrado, Ceará, Acre (Brazil), Rio De Janeiro, Rio Grande Do Sul, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Amazônia, Sergipe, Distrito Federal, Pernambuco, Bahia, Caatinga, SãO Paulo, Minas Gerais, and Espirito Santo. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 5.3 m.
