Myrsine umbellata is a species of tree in the family Primulaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to SãO Paulo, Roraima, Ceará, Minas Gerais, Sergipe, Cerrado, Rio Grande Do Sul, Distrito Federal, AmazôNia, Caatinga, GoiáS, Paraná, Pernambuco, Mato Grosso, Mata Atlântica, Santa Catarina, Bahia, Acre (Brazil), Rio De Janeiro, Espirito Santo, Mato Grosso Do Sul, and Pará. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 5.3 m.
