Symphyopappus compressus (Gardn.) B. L. Rob.

Symphyopappus compressus is a species of shrub in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Cerrado, Mata Atlântica, Caatinga, and Brazil. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Xylocopa brasilianorum, Melissoptila aureocincta, Yphthimoides ochracea, and Melipona quadrifasciata.
