Cerastium arvense (Field Chickweed) is a species of perennial herb in the family carpetweeds. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Alaska, Western North America, Canada, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Eastern North America, Greenland, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by blow flies, Spring Beauty Andrena, Caenohalictus, and Callophrys augustinus. Individuals can grow to 0.095 m.
