Hibiscus diversifolius is a species of shrub in the family mallows. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Santa Catarina, Mata Atlântica, Espirito Santo, Rio Grande Do Sul, SãO Paulo, Paraná, and Rio De Janeiro. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Individuals can grow to 10 m.
