Trema micrantha (Florida Trema) is a species of tree in the family Cannabaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to GoiáS, Pantanal, Pará, Distrito Federal, SãO Paulo, Puerto Rico, RondôNia, AmazôNia, The Contiguous United States, Alagoas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Ceará, Mato Grosso, Caatinga, Minas Gerais, Roraima, Tocantins, Paraná, Rio De Janeiro, Pernambuco, ParaíBa, Rio Grande Do Sul, Cerrado, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande Do Norte, Amapá, Mata Atlântica, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Piauí, Maranhao, Acre (Brazil), Pampa, US Minor Outlying Islands, Espirito Santo, Bahia, and Sergipe. They have simple, broad leaves, green flowers, and drupe. Individuals can grow to 17.45 m.
