Peperomia obtusifolia (Baby Rubberplant) is a species of shrub in the family Piperaceae. It is a climber. It has a self-supporting growth form. Baby Rubberplant is native to the contiguous United States, Puerto Rico, Minas Gerais, São Paulo, Pará, Pernambuco, Santa Catarina, Rio de Janeiro, Amazônia, Ceará, Rio Grande do Sul, Amapá, Cerrado, Espirito Santo, Paraná, Alagoas, Caatinga, Bahia, Mato Grosso, Sergipe, Roraima, and Mata Atlântica. It has simple, broad leaves. It is a photoautotroph.
