Bidens connata (Purplestem Beggarticks) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Physoconops sylvosus, Eristalis dimidiata, Pure Green Augochlora, and Entypus unifasciatus unifasciatus. Individuals can grow to 3.2 feet.
