Senecio viscosus (Sticky Groundsel) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Yugoslavia, Belarus, Belgium, Georgia, Greece, Albania, Germany, Italy, Azerbaijan, France, Turkey, The Netherlands, Spain, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Russia, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Ukraine, Lithuania, and Estonia. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.29 m.
