Cirsium foliosum (Elk Thistle) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Alaska, The Contiguous United States, and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves, white flowers, and achenes. Individuals can grow to 4 feet.
