Eriophyllum lanatum (Common Woolly Sunflower) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and Western USA. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Chlosyne leanira, Mitoura nelsoni muiri, Northern Checkerspot, and Occidryas chalcedona. Individuals can grow to 6 dm.
