Seriola lalandi (California Yellowtail) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family jacks. They are native to The Nearctic and Pacific Ocean. They are crepuscular carnivores. Individuals can grow to 250 cm. They have sexual reproduction. They rely on swimming and carangiform to move around.
