Scomber japonicus (Pacific Chub Mackerel) is a species of bony fishes in the family mackerels. It is a planktotroph. Individuals can grow to 2900 g. Pacific Chub Mackerel has sexual reproduction. Reproduction is iteroparous and oviparous.
