Maurolicus muelleri (Pearl Side) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family marine hatchetfishes. They are carnivores. Individuals can grow to 8.0 cm. They have sexual reproduction. Reproduction is iteroparous and oviparous. They are fast moving animals.
