Morphology

The umbrella is flattened to a great extent. The gonads are located between the radial canals along 1/2-2/3 of their length. Tentacles thin, their number reaches 300; whiskers absent. 8 statocysts are present, each contains about 12 concretions and carries an oculus near its base.
