The Schizophora is further subdivided in subsections in Grootaert et al. (1991). However, as sections and subsections are only used in the Botanic nomenclature and the ranking above family is not subject to any zoological rule of nomeclature, we are obliged to set Schizophora at Superfamily level and to skip the subsections as no level between Superfamily and genus exist.
