Cardita variegata (Rectangular False Cockle) is a species of mussels in the family cardita clams. Rectangular False Cockle form shallow marine sediments. It is a suspension feeder. Individuals can grow to 14 mm. Rectangular False Cockle has sexual reproduction. It is a facultatively mobile animal.
