Aequipecten opercularis (Queen Scallop) is a species of mussels in the family scallops. They are native to Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea. They are surficial modifiers. They are omnivores. Individuals can grow to 90 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They are sessile burrowers.
