Neophron percnopterus (Egyptian Vulture) is a species of birds in the family Accipitridae. It is listed as endangered by IUCN and in CITES Appendix II. It is associated with freshwater habitat. Egyptian Vulture is found in the Palearctic, the Indo-Malayan Realm, and the Afrotropics. It is a diurnal vertivore. Individuals can grow to 2400 g. Reproduction is dioecious. Egyptian Vulture has parental care (occasionally breeds cooperatively). It relies on flight to move around.
