Threskiornis aethiopicus (Sacred Ibis) is a species of birds in the family Threskiornithidae. It is associated with freshwater habitat. It is found in Australasia, the Afrotropics, the Palearctic, and the Indo-Malayan Realm. Sacred Ibis is a diurnal invertivore. Individuals can grow to 1963 g. Reproduction is dioecious. Sacred Ibis has parental care (pair provides care). It relies on flight to move around.
