Cyanocitta cristata (Blue Jay) is a species of birds in the family Corvidae. It is found in the Neotropics and the Nearctic. It is a diurnal omnivore. Individuals can grow to 109 g. Reproduction is dioecious. Blue Jay has parental care (occasionally breeds cooperatively). It relies on flight to move around.
