Platygyra sinensis (Milne Edwards & Haime 1849)

Platygyra sinensis is a species of cnidarians in the family Merulinidae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Platygyra sinensis form shallow marine sediments. Platygyra sinensis form marine reefs. Individuals can grow to 395 µm. They have asexual reproduction, alternation of generations, and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They are sessile animals.
