Cyphastrea ocellina (Lesser Knob Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family Merulinidae. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. Dead Lesser Knob Coral form shallow marine sediments. Lesser Knob Coral form marine reefs. They have asexual reproduction, alternation of generations, and sexual reproduction. They have parental care (brooding and symbiont inheritance). They are sessile animals.
