Metridium senile (Brown Sea Anemone) is a species of cnidarians in the family Metridiidae. They are surficial modifiers. They are solitary carnivores. Individuals can grow to 500 mm. They have asexual reproduction and sexual reproduction. They are facultatively mobile animals.
