Argentiniformes is an order of ray-finned fishes. There are 90 species of Argentiniformes, in 22 genera and 4 families. This order has been around since the maastrichtian age. It includes groups like Deep Sea Smelts, Spookfishes, and Pencilsmelts. They have sexual reproduction.
