Symphyotrichum subspicatum (Douglas Aster) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Western North America, Alaska, The Contiguous United States, The Americas, and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Woodland Skipper. Individuals can grow to 0.1 m.
